The Better Together Alliance holds the Licence for AET training across all Hampshire residents, schools and Post 16 centres. At present we are offering these workshops/training days:
MAKING SENSE OF AUTISM
Basic autism awareness training for all staff within any education setting (including office staff; governors; caretakers; drivers and escorts).

GOOD AUTISM PRACTICE
Practical knowledge, hands-on tools and techniques for all staff working directly with pupils on the autism spectrum (including teaching assistants; lunchtime staff; teachers).
1 day or 4 x 90 mins
DEVELOPING GOOD AUTISM PRACTICE - Deepens delegate’s understanding, including theories of autism. Advancing skills in developing & applying strategies to facilitate progress & Achievements, for teachers, teaching assistants, & SENDCos. ½ day or 2 x 90 mins
COMPLEX NEEDS & PARTICIPATION – Focused training for staff in a specialist provision to support a pupil with complex needs and aid participation (including development of their personal or EHCP plan)
1 day or 4 x 90 min
LEADING GOOD AUTISM PRACTICE - For staff who may train or lead other staff in their setting, focusing on developing good autism provision.
