Students either take part in group sessions or individual sessions according to their individual needs


The benefits of Yoga are:


MOTOR PLANNING (through yoga poses, stretches and movement)

  • Improves fine and gross motor skills
  • Organises vestibular (balance)
  • Integrate proprioception


COGNITIVE & NEURO-SENSORY PROCESSING (through singing, breathing techniques, props and yoga poses)

  • Embrace the power of neuroplasticity and retraining the brain to create new pathways
  • Reduction of fight – flight response
  • Improves concentration and sustained effort

EMOTIONS & BEHAVIOUR (addressed throughout the whole session)

  • Increases confidence and personal belief
  • Develop ability to relax (and understand what that is)
  • Reduction of anxiety and low mood
